Join us for The Hundred Wellness Centre’s Super Circuit class and transform your body with this unique, 45-minute circuit workout performed in interval training mode. There are never more than 8 people in any one class and we offer a range of mixed and ladies-only sessions. Plus, we offer three different levels for our Super Circuit classes, which means that every fitness level is catered for and we can really help you to reach your fitness goals, as you progress through the class tiers.
What is interval training mode?
Interval training is one of the most effective ways to lose weight and increase fitness. Research shows that interval training — workouts in which you alternate periods of high-intensity exercise with low-intensity recovery periods — increases fitness and burns more calories over a short period of time than steady-state cardio. The Hundred’s Super Circuit class will help you increase cardiovascular capacity, lose extra fat and build and maintain lean muscle mass whilst improving your mobility.
What is Super Circuit class?
Our circuit interval training Super Circuit class features numbered stations that involve certain exercises using various state-of-the-art fitness equipment. Each class member performs a timed set at each station before moving onto the next one. At the end of the class everyone has had a fairly intense, whole body workout and feels great. Plus, the movements and sequences performed during The Hundred Wellness Centre’s Super Circuit class are constantly adapted and changed – meaning that every week, there is a completely different workout, which will keep you and your muscles on your toes.
The fun and challenging exercises we perform at Super Circuit include battle rope wave slams, weighted squats and lunges and more – all mixed with short-bursts of cardio using the rowing, running machines (The Hundred uses the world’s first self-powered, manual Curve treadmill) and sometimes the humble jump rope. During class you will train and perfect your essential motor skills including coordination, power, agility, and balance. The workout begins and ends with the all-important warm-up and cool-down, featuring fascia-lengthening movements (similar to those found in Yoga and Pilates) and is 45-minutes in length total time.
Who can sign-up for Super Circuit class?
Since exercising safely is extremely important to us at The Hundred Wellness Centre we recommend that newcomers attend the level 1 Super Circuit class first in order to establish all of the crucial basics (squatting, swinging, jumping, climbing etc) and to build up a strong base to boost any kind of fitness training.

What do the different levels for Super Circuit involve?
Level 1: A beginner class, for those with little to no prior exercise experience.
During this fundamentals class you will learn all of the techniques to efficiently move the body when squatting, swinging, carrying, pushing, pulling, pressing, lunging, slamming, snapping, jumping, climbing and more. All of this information will make workouts easier, safer and more satisfying. This class is designed to build up a strong base to help beginners boost their fitness performance. It also serves as a good re-introduction to any seasoned fitness fanatics who are recovering from a recent injury.
Level 2: An intermediate class, for those with general previous exercise experience and no recents injuries* (for last 6 months at least).
The intermediate classes are challenging circuit workouts for people who are familiar with all of the fitness basics (including the movements mentioned in level 1 above) and have a good level of exercise experience. You should attend this class if you feel you are of average fitness and if you are looking to improve your fitness level. The workout features a medium level of intensity.
*For people with recent injuries, we suggest you attend the level 1 beginner classes and book in for a rehab session with our resident physiotherapist – find out more here.
Level 3: An advanced level class for those with long and systematic exercise experience, who aspire to reach or maintain a pro-level athletic performance.
This is a high intensity class, which is extremely challenging and is especially for those of a very high fitness level.
