Hened’s practice is based on manual therapy, soft tissue mobilisation, myofascial release techniques, dry needling, exercise therapy, evaluation of movement patterns and education of efficient movement strategies to improve daily and sportive activities.

Conditions she treat’s include, but are not limited to, orthopaedic impairments like neck pain, back pain, radiculopathies (i.e. sciatica), joint injuries, tendinopathies, pre and post surgical cases, in addition to rheumatic problems, such as rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis.

Hened’s treatment philosophy lies mainly on an interactive rehabilitation plan where the patient participates in their treatment through home exercise program and movement applications in order to achieve an enhanced recovery.

    I believe I can be an example for our clients. I was unhealthy and overweight but with lifestyle changes I lost 10kg.
  • How do you lead a healthier lifestyle?
    I changed white rice to brown rice, white bread to brown bread and introduced fish and vegetables in to my diet. I also take vitamins B4 and Immune 360.
  • What is the best bit of advice you have been given?
    My best friend, Genalyn Santos, advised me “Do not make decisions when you are angry.”

    To be a good wife and a mother.
