Sustainability

At The Hundred, our purpose is greater than ourselves: we’re deeply committed to leaving this world a little bit better than we found it. We believe that by taking meaningful action, trying to do the right thing every day, and being kind to each other and the world around us, we can make a real difference.

We strive to source, consume and produce resources responsibly — with the United Nations’ Sustainability Development Goal #12 in mind. Here are just some of the ways we’re doing our bit for the planet:

Our energy usage is constantly monitored and we do our best to continuously reduce it.
The 100 Café sources fresh ingredients from local farmers, which reduces carbon emissions from importing, while also supporting regional agriculture.
Any food waste is composted and used as a fertiliser for the garden, to create a sustainable ecosystem.
Our coffee cups, straws and trash bags are all recyclable, and our staff all use tote bags rather than plastic ones.
We use non-toxic cleaning products.
The water collected from our drying machines after washing our towels is reused to mop floors or water the plants.

Organic farmer’s market

Visit our organic farmer’s market every Saturday, where you can stock up on delicious, fresh produce for the week ahead.

In partnership with IGR, one of the first UAE certified organic farms, we’re bringing this wonderful weekly market directly to you at The Hundred, so you can bring the best of healthy eating to your own home.

Every Saturday from 9am–1pm.
